This page explains how Veyns uses account and palm data in this sandbox.

What we store

Veyns stores your account ID, registered devices, public verification keys and a hash of your recovery code. The service also keeps the sessions, scanner connections and approval records needed to operate your account.

Biometric data

Applications receive an account identifier specific to them, not your name, email, phone number or palm data. Browser screen-lock biometrics remain on your device. When you choose palm sign-in, the Veyns app securely sends a captured palm feature through our identity service to the palm service for verification. The identity service does not retain that feature in its platform database or logs. The app may retain an encrypted pending submission until its outcome is reconciled. Your existing palm enrollment remains managed by the palm service.

What applications receive

Each application receives an account ID specific to that application, together with the sign in or approval result. Veyns does not send the application your palm data or private signing keys.

Remembering your scanner

This browser can remember where to send palm requests for up to 30 days, including after you sign out. This does not keep you signed in: every sign-in still requires your approval and a palm scan. In Your account, open Browser options to sign out and forget the scanner.
